Man Plans to Eat Cat Because of its Mean, Greedy and Wasteful Behavior! (Meet Gary Korkuc!)

Meet Gary Korkuc. A 51 yaer old man who is currently being charged with animal cruelty for attempting to marinate and cook his 4 year old cat Navarro.

Police said they heard the cat during a routine traffic stop. When police searched the vehicle they found Navarro marinating in a tub of herbs and spices in the trunk of Gary's car!

Gary claimed the cat needed to be punished for its mean, greedy and wasteful behavior.

Navarro was put up for adoption and now goes by the name of Oliver.

In the year 2003 Craig Grant's son moved out of his condo leaving behind his pet cat Pepper. Craig originally was not a cat lover but that would all change.

Pepper got pregnant and Craig now had six kitties. As time went on Craig realized that each cat had its own personality and couldn't believe how satisfying it was to be part of their lives.

In November of that same year Craig created what is now known as Caboodle Ranch! In 100 acres of wildlife Craig created a Sanctuary for over 500 abused and abandoned kitties. All kitties are spayed and neutered.

Hachiko (A True Story of Neverending Loyalty)

In 1924, a Professor named Hidesaburo Ueno, who taught at the University of Tokyo found Hachiko as a stray and took him in as a pet. Until May of 1925 Hachiko greeted the Professor at precisely 5:00PM each day at the nearby train station.

In May of 1925, Professor Ueno died while at work never returning to pick up Hachiko. Not knowing the Professor had passed away, Hachiko waited at the train station every day for the next nine years for his master to return.

Hachiko died at the train station on March 8, 1935.

This is a true and very touching story! It is very hard to watch this movie and not cry! (Duey's Place has given this movie a rating of 8 out of possible 9 lives!)

Cat Shot in the Head with an Arrow!

A four year old cat named Brownie in Bloomington Indiana was shot with a 13 inch arrow. The Veterinarian who performed the surgery said the arrow nicked the skull just up above the eye socket. Brownie is lucky to be alive!

The Monroe County Humane Association is offering a $500.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of the individuals responsible!

Dog returns from the dead!

When Matt's 10 year old Rottweiler (Mia) began suffering from spinal injuries the only sensible option was to put Mia down. Matt took Mia to a Vet in Redford Michigan and watched as his beloved Mia peacefully passed away.

Matt took Mia home and placed her lifeless body in the garage. The next morning when he went to bury her, Matt found Mia alive but still in a lot of pain.

Now Matt finds himself with the problem of having to go through the painful process of putting Mia down again.

The Vet has refused to comment until they can verify that the living dog is in fact Mia! Some speculate the Vet gave the wrong drug putting Mia to sleep but not permanently.

Girls Kills Innocent Puppies! Officials Refuse to Press Charges!

About two months ago a 12 year old girl in the town of Bogojno Bosnia killed five puppies by throwing them into a river. Bosnian authorities claim the animals were rescued by an old lady who retrieved the puppies from the rivers rushing waters.

It is widely speculated that the rescue story was created by Bosnian officials to calm down the international community. No charges will be filed against the young girl.

Dog Has 21 Puppies (Daisy May In Labor For Over 20 Hours)

It took nearly twenty hours for Daisy May to give birth to a litter of 21 puppies. Four of the pups did not survive but the remaining seventeen are very healthy and are now ready for adoption. The dog's owners have decided that this litter is more then enough so Daisey May is now on the road to retirement.

Daisy's significant other is a registered Bulldog that goes by the name of Groucho. No news on whether or not his breeding days are over.

This is definitely a rare case because most litters will be around 5 to 10 pups. The size of the litter greatly depends on the breed. To date the largest litter of puppies ever recorded was 24!!!

If your intention is not to breed or cannot guarantee a quality home for each and every puppy, we recommend you spay and neuter your animal. Most shelters offer discounted programs. Check your local Humane Society for details.

Luna’s Story:
The Happy Ending Depends on You
The beautiful Black Lab didn’t utter a sound as the reserve police officer and Florence Area Humane Society employees Anne Cook and Max Eckroth gently carried her into the shelter on a makeshift stretcher fashioned from a blanket and a couple of poles.
"She can't get up, I think she probably has a broken back," the officer had said when he phoned the shelter to say he’d found the dog huddled in the bushes near the old high school football field. Max, Anne and staff member Laura Livingston prepared a bed on the floor in the med room and gave our guest a bowl of water. She lay quietly and gazed at our concerned faces with not even a whimper.

It was a mid-September Sunday morning, usually a quiet time at the shelter but on this Sunday morning the entire Board of Directors was present. We had intended to have a special meeting which was now postponed while we all focused on a more important issue. The dog needed medical attention and mostly likely a delicate surgical procedure.

Our Senior Medical Technician, Barb Hall, was in charge that day. Barb located her owner and learned her name is Luna. The owner released Luna to FAHS and advised she cannot take care of Luna, who is about one year old and recently gave birth. After a brief discussion concerning the dog’s critical condition, Barb picked up the phone and called Oregon State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Arrangements were made and on Monday morning, volunteer John Horrillo drove Luna to Corvallis.



Dr. Jennifer Simpson determined Luna’s back was indeed broken with one vertebra out of alignment resulting in some spinal cord damage. Her surgical task was to move the vertebra back into alignment with the help of a surgical plate, and in time, attempt to get the vertebrae to fuse. In addition, Luna’s tail had been crushed and amputation was necessary. After the surgery, senior veterinary student Jeni Gallagher offered to foster Luna. "At first, my job was to keep her quiet," advises Gallagher. "She couldn’t walk at all and we could tell she would have some return but she couldn,t support any weight.
In the fifth week after surgery, Gallagher is performing leg and back massage with the goal of keeping the muscles relaxed. She also does electric stimulation releasing low level electricity in little pulses to keep Luna’s leg muscles from atrophying. "As she gets stronger," says Gallagher, "we will put her in a treadmill pool which will allow her to work while not bearing all the weight of her body." She advises the bones will take almost a year to make a full recovery. "There will always need to be attention paid to her bones and her weight because she may always be more vulnerable."


Jeni Gallagher will be graduated from the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She now shares her life with a Chihuahua from a Multnomah County shelter and a two-year-old American Indian dog rescued from a northern California reservation and she is hoping Luna can join.

Although the product may function as described its physical appearance will eliminate any dignity your dog may of had!

No#2
The POOP SACK appears to have a snap release and that quick, jarring motion could fling poo chunks in random directions. Chunks could land in various parts of the surrounding area including (but not limited to), your face and mouth. Proceed with caution.

No#3
Most dogs have the ability to lick their own anus and if not trained properly, will probably remove the POOP SACK at their own leisure. If the dog is left unsupervised this violent licking and chewing removal could result in POO CHUNK SCATTER!

Other then these minor setbacks we recommend the POOP SACK!
